Project Description:
Barr & Prevost served as a subconsultant for this project supplying geotechnical engineering services for this 300 lineal-foot MSDGC sewer replacement project that parallels Mangham Drive east of the roadway and extends beneath the I-75 exit ramp. 

A subconsultant provided field services that included taking borings to a minimum depth of 5’; collecting soil samples via split barrel and shelby tube methods; and recording groundwater measurements where water was encountered during drilling. 

Lab services involved testing selected soil specimens recovered from both sampling methods for natural moisture content, wash gradations (silt plus clay determinations), specific gravity, dry density and plasticity to characterize the soil conditions.

Findings, analyses and recommendations related to installation of the proposed sewer line were detailed in a geotechnical report.
